This new role will provide additional engineering expertise to projects from initial concept through to production manufacture. Experience of working in a mechanical design engineering environment is required as you will be producing engineering drawings in Solidworks and AutoCAD to generate new specifications. Knowledge in the design of sheet metal, machined and injection moulded parts is essential, as are practical skills in building and running development test rigs, sourcing suppliers, preparing instruction manuals and visiting customers to provide on-site training in the UK and globally for short periods. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, be commercially aware, conscientious, able to travel and qualified to HND in Mech. Eng or equivalent.

For our Industrial Door Automation business we are searching for a candidate to cover sales in the Southern UK region. A proven sales history in a business-to-business market and prospecting skills are essential as is the capability to negotiate and close sales. A background in drive and control systems, including single and three phase geared drives and controls is preferred. If you are located south of Warwick with a mechanical/electrical engineering background (HND or similar), proven sales ability and excellent communication skills, IT literate and have a full clean driving license, then contact us. We are keen to expand our internal sales team to provide additional technical support to customers for our drive and control systems, including single and three phase geared drives and controls. Candidates with an electro/mechanical background and qualifications (HND min.), proven technical sales support experience, effective communication skills and the ability to problem solve should apply. Assessing enquiries, preparing quotations, sales order processing and contract review are essential elements of this busy role so applicants need to be familiar with using computerised systems. A driving license is essential as there will be occasional customer visits and the ability to carry out product demonstrations and training sessions will be advantageous. Knowledge of ATEX regulations, Control System Logic and being familiar with industrial circuits and capable of reading schematics may give you the edge when it comes to matching our criteria for this position.
