PRODUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operation in Warwick. You will play a central role in shaping how our specialist shading systems are made, overseeing day-to-day production while driving improvements in efficiency, quality and delivery.

This is a key leadership position within a growing business. Working closely with the wider site management team, you will help develop a high-performing factory operation that supports our long-term growth ambitions and delivers consistently for customers across the UK and overseas.

What you’ll be doing

  • Production Leadership: Lead daily production activity within a fast-paced SME environment, ensuring output meets customer demand, quality expectations and cost targets.

  • Team Development: Manage, motivate and develop a production team of approximately 20 operatives. Build a positive, accountable factory culture focused on quality, safety and continuous improvement.

  • Operational Planning: Plan and deliver production schedules, balancing labour, materials and machine capacity to achieve on-time, in-full delivery.

  • Process Improvement: Introduce and embed Lean ways of working to improve efficiency, reduce waste, shorten lead times and make best use of factory space.

  • Health & Safety Ownership: Take full responsibility for site Health & Safety. Maintain compliance with UK legislation, carry out risk assessments and promote safe working practices across the factory.

  • Quality Control: Ensure consistent product quality by monitoring standards, addressing defects promptly and reducing rework through better processes and controls.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Purchasing, Sales and senior management to support smooth order fulfilment and resolve production challenges quickly.
  • Reporting & Visibility: Provide clear, accurate reporting on production performance, risks and improvement activity.

What We’re Looking For

Experience
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Demonstrable experience leading a factory or production team
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement or Lean initiatives
Skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • Confidence making operational decisions in a live production environment
  • Competent user of IT systems, including stock control or warehousing software
Health & Safety
  • Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
  • Experience managing H&S compliance and conducting risk assessments
  • NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent qualification
Desirable
  • Experience in a related or comparable industry
  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing methodologies such as 5S or Six Sigma
  • Working knowledge of quality systems, including ISO standards
Working hours
  • Monday to Thursday: 8.00am – 4.30pm
    Two paid 15-minute breaks
    30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • Friday: 8.00am – 1.00pm

SUPPLY CHAIN CO-ORDINATOR

We are looking for a proactive and commercially aware Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join our growing Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in improving efficiency across the business, driving process improvements, and ensuring we secure the best value from our supply chain. You’ll work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to make sure materials are sourced cost-effectively and customer orders are delivered on time, every time.

What you’ll be doing

  • Process Improvement: Review, streamline, and implement operational processes that enhance efficiency and margin.

  • Supplier Management: Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and evaluate new and existing suppliers to deliver the best outcomes for the business.

  • Logistics & Order Management: Plan, track, and expedite customer orders, both in the UK and overseas, to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.

  • Project Support: Support high-profile projects by ensuring materials are delivered on budget and on schedule.

  • ERP Implementation: Assist in the transition to a new ERP system, ensuring smooth adoption across the business.

  • Collaboration: Work with Sales and Operations teams to resolve order issues quickly and support large, complex projects.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

Minimum 2 years in procurement or supply chain, ideally within building products or construction. Import/export knowledge is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and adapt
  • Fluent English (an additional language is desirable)
Qualifications
  • CIPS Level 4 (or working towards)

  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, clients, and suppliers to integrate smart mechanical solutions into complex projects.

  • Project Oversight: Provide technical leadership on major projects, ensuring design excellence and on-time delivery.

What you’ll be doing

  • Customer Support: Provide friendly, knowledgeable advice to customers on products and projects, ensuring every enquiry is handled with professionalism and care.

  • Quotations & Orders: Generate accurate quotations for products and process customer orders through our ERP system.

  • Coordination: Liaise with Engineering, Operations, and Production teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient project delivery.

  • Account Management: Support customer relationships from first enquiry through to delivery, keeping them informed and supported at every stage.
